Future Perfect Tense

Tenses ini digunakan untuk menyatakan suatu perbuatan yang sudah dimulai pada waktu lampau dan akan segera selesai pada waktu yang akan datang.

a. Pola Baku
I/We + Will + Have + Past Participle
He/She/It/You/They + Will + Have + Past Participle

1. Positive Sentence atau Kalimat Positif
S + Will + Have + V-3 + O/Adv
Contohnya :
* I will have learnt English.
* My father will have gone to office.

2. Negative Sentence atau Kalimat Negatif
S + Will + Not + Have + V-3 + O/Adv
Contohnya :
* I will not have learnt English.
* My father will not have gone to office.

3. Interrogative Sentence atau Kalimat Pertanyaan
Will + S + Have + V-3 + O/Adv?
Will + Not + S + Have + V-3 + O/Adv?
Contohnya :
* Will you have learnt English?
* Will not my father have gone to office?


b. Penggunaan
1. Untuk menyatakan peristiwa yang telah terjadi sebelum terjadinya peristiwa atau kejadian lain di waktu lampau.
Contohnya :
* We will have reached the peak when the sunrises.
* By the time we play, my father will have gone to home.

2. Untuk menyatakan suatu peristiwa atau kejadian yang telah berlangsung selama periode waktu tertentu pada saat atau sebelum peristiwa lain terjadi di waktu yang akan datang.
Contohnya :
* Dina will have mastered English before she study overseas.

3. Untuk menyatakan peristiwa atau kejadian yang akan atau telah selesai terjadi di masa yang akan datang.
Contohnya :
* By the end of this year, I will have gone to Japan.


c. Ciri-ciri Khusus
1. Predikat kalimat yang kerap digunakan dalam tenses ini adalah Will + Have + Past Participle.

2. Keterangan waktu yang sering dipergunakan dalam bentuk tenses ini adalah :
By next week : menjelang minggu depan
By next month : menjelang bulan depan
Until : hingga
When : ketika
In a day : dalam waktu satu hari
By tomorrow : menjelang sore
After : sesudah
Before : sebelum
If : jika
